I'm liking this one

http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/jackets_and_vests/cruiser_leather_jackets_and_vests/tour_master/lawndale_jacket.html
But would be willing to look at others....

I already have a 3/4 length textile jacket (an older Joe Rocket) so I'm kinda looking for leather....
Subtle is better.... I'm old enough to not want flashy racer graphics (and smart enough to try to stay "under the radar")
Under 3 bills would be just right price wise.....

I'm thinking the tour master I linked to above may be a winner but I've never owned any of their gear

Thanks in advance Scott

Scott,

I've had/have a few Tourmaster products and have been happy with them.
I currently have had a Tourmaster Transitions II textile jacket for about 3 years and like it a lot.  Its the only jacket I've had where both the shoulder and elbow armour are actually comfortable.  Every other jacket I've had to remove one or the other.  I'd use the discount coupon to buy the "optional" armour.
The liner goes in/out quickly and does make a difference.  ALSO, the liner has pockets on the inside, so you still have interior pockets with the liner in place.
The Transitions II jacket had a few untrimmed threads, but other than that the quality has been fine.  And, it came with spare snaps :-)
The description mentioned it being a "dry" jacket, but after you've broken it in, a coating of SnoSeal or Dubbin or other leather water repeling product should make it fine in all but serious downpours.
My current leather jacket seems to have shrunk a bit lately, and I have been happy enough with my Transitions II that I haven't been looking for a replacement, but this jacket is very  tempting.
I also have a Tourmaster electric vest and some winter gloves.  Good stuff.

I appreciate your input re:tourmaster Arnie.....

Surfing around on revzillas website it turns out that their retail location is only a little over an hour from me.....
I think I'll take the fj for a ride down there soon and be able to check things out in person....

The only problem I can forsee is that I have to remember to ONLY bring my budgeted cash and leave the credit card at home.... I understand their retail store is VERY well stocked with nice gear ;-)
