Stock air filter holders / keepers / clips

During a major brain fart yesterday I discarded the things (clips, keepers, holders) that hold the stock air filter in place (I have an oil based filter and was doing regular maintenance). According to every web site I checked the part is no longer available (listed as "Air Cleaner Case" 36Y-W1441-00-00).

I'm sure I can make my own, but it would be nice to have the OEM parts.
So, anyone out there who removed their stock air box have these clips?

After 18 years of some non-trivial mods I screw up on something like this  :ireful:

Thanks,
Bob

Getting it in before anyone else does (....)

Tossthewholeairboxandgetunipodsfromrandy!

Totally unhelpful, but this way it's out of the way and done, and everyone else can be helpful.

+1000 to this suggestion Bob. Have a look at my link here and see what I found in my carbs when I thought the standard airlfilter was sealing properley.

Ya, replacing the old air box is probably the way to go... I just hate being defeated like this.
And I figured my oiled air filter was rare; don't see it talk about here much. I liked that.

I do have an extra set of airbox of clips. Like the others, I don't use the airbox and use unipods instead.

Bob, I am pretty sure I still have mine as well along with the entire air box. If you don't get them from Rob, your are welcome to these.

Well, uni-pods are probably in my future, but for now Rob will be sending me the air filter clips.
Huge thanks Rob  :good2:

Just installed this one a few weeks ago. I "lose" the wedges just about every time I pull the filter; then they show up on a bench or next to a drain pan somewhere the next morning after my brain had some rest.
If someone wants to see any images I refer to in posts, first check my gallery here. If no bueno, send me a PM. More than glad to share.

Mine were flushed down the toilet.  Don't ask.
