Hey folks, I checked with the Willits KOA and they only have the goofy swing on the porch of the cabins.

Some KOA's have chairs, alas Willits does not...so..

All of you folks who are trailering to the WCR, can you put some extra chairs in your gear for folks who ride in?

Around the campfire, there always seems to be a shortage of chairs....so bring all you have!

Almost Rally time!

Mark, are you riding in?  If so, screw the lawn chairs...strap on your BBQ! Don't leave home without it...

My mouth is watering already.....

I brought a chair last year on the bike (rolled up in my sleeping bag), never used it... Rolled it back up and took it home.... I will be grateful to anyone bringing extras.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I will try to round up a couple. I will also have tent if it's needed.

Although I won't have room to bring *extra* camp chairs, I always travel with my Alite Monarch:

Rolls up and stuffs in a sack the size of a large burrito and only weighs 18 oz.  Okay...that is a VERY large burrito...but still!

Yeah...that's a highly regarded chair for its comfort for sure.  I consider having a 1 lb, 2 oz chair (the Alite) that packs down to 4 1/2 x 13" a total luxury item.  The Kermit Chair is over 5 lbs and at 4 x 6 x 22", it just wouldn't fit in the Givis.  It's got a size and weight footprint that's bigger than my tent, so I wouldn't likely bring it along on the FJ.  We're looking to do some overland exploring and camping in a small truck...  I think the Kermit would be ideal for that!

Screw the chairs I am bringing a cooler. I can sit on it and refills close at hand. Save travel time.
