I want a mechanical switch like Randy's but a small rectangular display like Marsh has in his cluster.

I don't like the largish 2" round gauge.

I think I covered that in my post a little while ago...

Also, a little birdie tells me there might at least one other style of digital gear indicator in the works for the FJ as well.

Just bought one for the FJ. I'll let you know how it works out.   Pete.   :unknown:
. Yes please (popcorn)
Have just got around to fitting it. Took about 2 hours to fit due to very vague installation instructions, which is a common problem when opting to fit a cheap Chinese made gadget. The wiring instructions were fine but the mounting details for the sensors was trial and error. Having said all that, the indicator works exceptionally well. Been out for a couple of rides since fitment and am very happy with it. Neutral indication only occurs after the ignition has been switched off and back on again. This is not a problem for me as my dash neutral light works fine. Sure stoops me looking for another gear when I'm already in 5th gear, which is the main reason I bought this unit in the first place. For around $20 it's a bargain.   :good2:  Pete.

It will work on your two stroke only if you have a 12v power source. The neutral function of this indicator relies on a ground signal from the gear selector neutral position which may not be available on some two strokes. I had a 400km ride today and it performed without fault. For the money it's a bargain.
