Okay, I've never been a real fan of Formula 1 as it always seemed too technical (meaning it was more software racing rather than driver racing).  However, these new rules have me fascinated. It looks like the driver is finally part of the equation again.  Instead of pushing a button, they are actually having to use their brain and feet again.

The movie Grand Prix was shown last night.  The "new" engines sound like the motors of that 1968 movie.  I love it!

The most interesting F1 has been for years, terrible shame the smug kraut is out!

I don't know if you can see the support categories in your coverage, but the V8 super cars are looking better than they have for years as well with new players in the catagory.

I only have 2 tv stations up here but from the radio I heard that they have switched to v6 motors and dropped the v8's. They played the sound of the v8's then the v6's for comparison, what a difference. From this news they had said that F1 was trying to be more respectful of the environment and bringing costs down much to the dismay of many fans. Did you know how they get these valve trains to scream 14000 rpm, the valves actuate by nitrogen gas! Anyway, has M. Shumacker come out of his coma? sorry for the spelling of his name.  :hi:
