Just passing these pics along I ran across...  He/she incorporated some different ideas I thought would be appreciated.  Not sure about closing off the side cooling scoops though.

Like it. Nicely done. After market seat, or reupholstered?

Reupholstered, you can find it on EBay.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Lots of attention to look-good details, but still wearing the stock wheels and anti-dive.

If God wanted FJ1200's to have FZR front end and rims, he would have made'm that way.

I disagree.   :diablo:
If FZR (or GSXR/YZF, etc) wheels were not suppposed to fit a FJ, they'd be made of tungsten instead of aluminum.  Good luck machining tungsten!  :bomb:

Nice taillight integration, I'd never block off engine cooling scoops, but what the hell is he doing with the two lower front windshield bolts???
Is he hoping to spear somebody, or is it his inner Harley leaking out? :dash2:

Looks like the Bandit fender I put on my 92

Looks like a more modern Yamaha.

Which is to say ugly, but at least he's trying.

Personally i think this bike is one of the nicest Fj's ive ever seen,,,,but ive not seen many. :good2:

Sorry, I can't buy in on that.  Nice paint, BUT ... 16" front, Anti dive, Stock single pot calipers, and then the air scoops engine cooker mod.  It's a very decent paint job and a good look but it fails the functionality test, IMHO.
