I am air hugging you Big R..... :yahoo: ....great moment for Canada !!! I thought 7am was an early rise.......4am must have been a task (not....lol). Two 5 and 0 records playing for the Gold......I never knew Canada also had a "Great Wall" ....3 goals against in 6 games.......I don't think I have ever seen a more dominant display of shutting other High powered offences like Team USA and the best powerplay in the tourney in Sweden. The Game started like 2 undefeated prize fighters.......but after the first period....the Canadians took away the stretch passes up the middle and their active sticks were causing turnovers galore....the counter punches were unbelievable.......probably one of if not the most complete packages Canada has ever assembled on any international level. Congrats to team Sweden and Team Finland on your Silver and Bronze medals.....and a heartfelt disappointment for the US team.

......easy sport Doug....it's soccer and American football combined....played on ice and with a stick...that's it.......I plan to get up early and watch my share of Leaf games at the local sports pub......10 am.....what a way to start the day.... :rofl:. ......and thx for the congrats......we can make a toast and a cheer when I see you...

I see.........well lets see.....first of all...hockey is a team sport.......not just a Canadian sport........secondly....there is no "I" in team.....which is why Team USA lost !!! It would take months to invade canada.  There's only about a dozen people there, and they're all on the ONE DAMNED ROAD IN THE COUNTRY, driving at walking pace.

At least that's where they were when I was there.
