Always wanted the Norton John Player Special. Still do. A classic. Dave

Maybe this will give you your JPS fix until you can afford one.

That is absolutely the best looking lawnmower I've ever seen. I want one. Dave

Sorry, I don't get it. Does the bike owner get some kind of contingency money for all those stickers?

You can buy after market bolt on cooling fins

Noel

And, for the man that has everything (including a second clutch spring) Spark plug cooling fins - yes, they're real and yes, that's what they're made for.

That is a killer paint job, love it. However the pipes and the frame really need to be done as well.

Is that the Bandit front fender?

I was thinking the same thing. It looks exactly like the Badit fender I fit on my FJ

I'm sure he doesn't get comp'ed for that. Hell, he may even live in fear of intellectual property rights' enforcement division's legal department.  :ireful:
But I sure do love the paint job. I've always thought the JPS black and gold paint scheme was one of the most elegant ones out there. It just looks classy. I've had random thoughts about repainting my '92 someday like that, using the '89 decals. I probably won't though; I don't need another cherry bike that only comes out when it's not raining. (It is Portland, after all.) I don't enjoy cleaning that much.

Fancy paint goes on canvas to put on the wall.  The real art is making the motor and chassis do impressive things.

Back to those extended Cooling Fins... I believe that there is an extra cooling benefit to be had.

It is a popular modification that is often performed on the Honda XR series of air cooled bikes.

Check out: WWW.XRSONLY.COM

Cool down that XR650L, XR600R, XR400, XR250R or even that XR200R. Don't add an additional oil cooler, the extended cylinder head fins not only look trick, but they work! By extending your cylinder head fins you can help your motor run cooler by 30 degrees.

Send us your bare head (no valves/springs) so we can handcraft your head into a work of art that works, for $250!

I love my modded XR 650L . The big finned head has been out for a long time now. I was curious about it but I think the fins would hit my over sized Acerbis fuel tank because it drops fairly low down on the sides. Only thing in common with the L and my J is, you guessed it, They are both air cooled and both Red and White!
