The street bike hasn't had a lot of love the last few months.  But I've got it back on the road, new Colorado tags, and a good November day to ride to work!  While putting the side panels back on it noticed the top rear motor mount bolt sticking out the left side of the frame.  Luckily I still have the air shifter bracket in place so the bolt didn't go bouncing down the road somewhere.   I did lose the bushing/nut from the right side though -- anyone have an extra one?!  I canibalized the bushing/nut from the drag bike. Grab my allen sockets to remove the air shifter bracket. Oops, those bolts are torx - no worries, go to the tool box to grab my faithful torx sockets I've used for years.  Cuss!  Holler!  Yell!

Next week will be the four year "anniversary" of my trailer being stolen...and I'm still finding things I didn't realize were stolen. Really, I don't get as upset about it as I used to - now it's more of a "you've got to be f-n kidding me, again?!" kind of a thing.

Thanks for letting me vent!  Seems I'll be buying a new set of torx sockets on the way home.

Kookaloo ... tomorrow!

No problem, hard to get over low life's stealing shit from you. Understandable. Hope you don't have far to ride ! I use to ride about 4 miles from my house to the main gate and I would have to stop riding usually by the end of Oct..

Yep, glad I rode in yesterday - sure wouldn't have worked today!   Enough icy sections this morning to have been painful on two wheels.

It's about 20 miles each way.  Electric jacket liner (with sleeves!) and electric gloves worked very well in upper 30's to lower 40's.  Didn't need them on the way home in the 50's.

Hope to be able to pick the nice winter days for riding to work.
