Put the old girl away today. Temp. was about plus 4C. Treated the gas and took a little spin around the block and dam near froze. This really sucks as I only had time to put about 1500KM,s on her this summer. Oh well time to order some more parts for next spring. Need a set of mufflers, a set of lower foot pegs and to raise the seat about 2 ins. Oh, and a set of better mirrors. Big R

 Big r?  I bought a set of the lowering (adjustable)  foot pegs. I'm @work right now can't remember the name. The expensive ones from Germany. Never installed them. I made some highway pegs that work great. I'll sell them to you @ $40 less than I paid +shipping  if those are the ones you want. I'll never use them and eventually they would get lost.

They are the MFW vario the only place I could find them here was Twisted Throttle. I don't remember just what I paid. I just checked there sight. The fj mounts they don't list I had to get them to special order them. And they screwed up the first time and ordered non vario mounts for fj's the first time and had to send them back too Germany took 3 months. That's why I made the hiway pegs.

Any way I just looked them up using the regular price. Yo. Have to order the mounts the extension, and the peg separate.
And they are $190.97 So $150+shipping they were never mounted. I got the 30mm extension  and the pegs with the rubber inserts
Yah I know they were way more than I thought they were going to be when I bought them too. But my knees couldn't take it.
now that you have sticker shock do you still  want them for $40 off

The cold takes all the fun out of riding, don't it? Many years back, I had to drive my bike thru a couple of months in winter cause the car broke down and the wife needed her car. The joy was gone for quite a while after drive over a frozen puddle. It rained the day before and froze solid over night. I was going 70 on a highway on ramp and leaning into a bend. I still remember that one. The back end started to come around. I managed to straight her up before I got to the end of the ice. Freaky feeling.
I should be able to start riding in early May around here. How about you?
