"The Blount County Rescue Squad is proud to be posting a rescue vehicle on The Dragon every weekend during the peak season of April - October. By having a truck located directly onsite, we are able to reduce response times to emergencies by at least 30 minutes.

Our rescue squad is staffed strictly by volunteers - we have no paid members - and our funding comes solely from private donations. We receive no government funding. Would you help us to ensure that we can consistently maintain a presence on The Dragon during these times by posting a link to our Paypal donation site on your website and or Facebook page? We have had numerous riders and visitors to The Dragon ask how they can donate, and we could really use your help to get the word out."
