FZR1000 EXUP MOD

I have a question I hope someone can answer.Im getting ready to do the rear wheel FZR1000 EXUP mod and I noticed that the wheel on my FJ now has a rubber donut spacer around the main spacer.Will that spacer work on the FZR wheel or do I need to get one for the wheel,or do you need it at all.I would appreciate anybodys help.

Buddy, you can run the wheel without the seal.....just make certain you have sealed bearings (rubber seals, not metal..... on both sides of the bearings)  in there.

While I am asking questions, can you use the big spacer in side the hub out of the FJ wheel in the FZR wheel.
