Russell emailed me the other day and said that my guards were boxed and ready to go.I had someone try to fraudulently try to use my M card so I had to cancle my card and am waiting for my new one so I can pay for the shipping So I guess that he must have them and they are on there way.

All it did was save the shipping any way.

Got mine the other day, opened the box and just knew I didn't want to go any farther. Great big box and there basically wrapped together, scratched all to fuck. (for brand new)

Don't like the mounting either, no spacers like back in the day. (hokey at best)

Will need to upgrade hardware just like on my flexy flier rear rack. They are cool looking though.

That's too bad, for $188+ I would have expected better service.  I've been on the fence on getting a set because I was undecided if I liked the looks.  Last thing I would want is to receive set of scratched up bars.

Mine were packed tightly together and only had two small chips in the paint, not bad in my mind.

I think the black blends in with the engine color and doing so, don't stand out, like they would if they were painted silver.
But I think that is all a matter of taste.
If I see some painted silver and mounted on a bike, I might reconsider.

Same with one of mine from the first group buy.  What was that?  Like 6 years ago?  Also, wasn't the price about $130 back then??

Anyway, you would think they could learn basic packaging skills.  This type of service comes from people who don't give a shit about anyone but themselves.  It is a shame that this is our only option.  I know others have chimed in before about possibly making them and selling them.  What ever came of that?
