What is the possible cause of popping when bike is being revved up?
I've got a few issues with my bike that I hope I get answers to at the fj clinic Saturday.
I'm pretty sure I will be needing carbs done or new carbs.

When I fire up and run choke I get popping....soon as I kill choke no pops anymore.

Ummmm.... Need more info on when the popping happens. Acceleration, deceleration, idle. Is the engine warm, cold, choke on/off? Do you wear boxers or tightly-whities?... Sorry, strike that, wrong forum.... What are the conditions of the engine when this is happening?
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Boxers only and im thinking my issue is more complex as I went to check on my bike this morning and there was a small puddle of gas under carbs.

FJ_Hooligan

Rebuild the carbs (using the magic screw kit from RPM) and all will be healed.

As recommended a while back...

There are also a couple of recent carb stories as well.

This bike runs but needs the carbs rebuilt and ive been quoted $500.00 to rebuild carbs.

Unbolt and send to Randy @ RPM

That is just what I did this spring and found it to be the right thing to do with great results.
