G'Day
Could have done with registering a long time ago.......some great info on here.
I've had my "89" 3CV, 1200 for about 6 yrs now, bought it for 500 bucks written off ,sitting in a dark corner in Turners Auction......front end was munted from slow speed impact, someone had painted it  (with a broom I reckon) a horrible metallic red....but the key was in and I turned it and it fired (what would you expect!!!).
So 6 years on it has rear end from Thunderace, R1 calipers, braided brake lines, R6 front master brake cylinder, custom made (my son) straight through mufflers, custom seat (I made this to suit mine and wife's butt!!!) custom made pack rack with givi top, upgraded front suspension, renewed all running bearings wheels, steering, etc., K & N Air filter, and full paint job in FJR 1300 Colours.
Awesome machine had a great trip to South Island through Arthur's Pass....dropped it last month in a carpark!!!!!! busted a few things and stuffed some panels....so now she's in bits again, motor overhaul (done 112,000kms) and various other little mod's, winter here at the moment so not too much riding but have a ride planned for end Sept to Napier....better get my A into G!!!

Hiya Terry, welcome!  There's plenty of great support here. Hey Steve, where in Tauranga are you?  I'm in Papamoa - I haven't seen many FJ's around here.

I'm originally from the UK (Essex), moved here 42 years ago when I was 18 months old... only managed to get around to getting Kiwi citizenship last month so can call myself a kiwi now lol.
