New here, I've been lurking around for quite some time, though.  I was curious as to how some of you have the contributor status, and if there are any sweet perks?

:drinks:

I'm thinking about sending ze monies but was wondering what the process was, and wanted to make sure it will go to good use.

Thanks!

Contributor status is a tag that gets attached to members that have donated $$$'s to this website. Completely voluntary to help with the costs of running this site. The easiest way is to click on the 'Donate" bubble at the bottom of the page and use PayPal to donate what you feel like donating.

Thanks, Fred.

I was just wondering if anything came with the status, or if it was just that, a status.

Side note, I've got an `84 Interceptor 500, do you miss it?

Some members have benefited by being contributors. I occasionally offer custom parts and tools for the cost of shipping. Search on "Monkey made parts" and "Monkey made tools" to find the posts and understand the kind items I offer. Other than that, you get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing you are helping Marsh keep this awesome site working, a world of FJ owners connected and providing help to all that need it, to keep their FJ's in Kookaloo shape. If you are not sure about donating, give it some time till you get a feel for the kind group this is.  :drinks:

Awesome, thanks.  Speaking of Marsh, what's the best way to get in touch with him about techie details?  I've attempted to reach him via PM

Sometimes I miss having the little Honda.

When I owned it, I lived in Southern California and it was a blast in the canyons. I am now in Kansas and I don't think I would have very much fun on 50hp sportbike. No canyons or curvy rodes to ride.

Perks?  Well, besides the aforementioned monkey-made items, there is the truck load of good karma.  You might need that some day.
