Crap! I used 14gauge for coil relay mod

Will I be alright with the 14gauge wire? Or should I take it all apart and go buy 12gauge?
I guess I was on autopilot when i did it, lol.

I think you will be fine. The final proof is in the voltage drop numbers. Your before voltage reading was what, 10.xx volts? Now it's what?
14 gauge wire is still better than the 16 gauge oem wiring.

Just don't put in more than 180 watts of lights on that line and you'll be okay.

There are light watts on the coil relay mod?!

The solenoid is what is getting the signal from the relay for the lights that are hooked to the coils.  :biggrin:

Oh jeez.  The big question isn't the lighting you run your coils with (arguably sparks are illuminating, if you want to defend yourself that way David...), but it's what kind of oil you use!
