Fjers often comment on my big one. Madam
I've run an 18 up front and 46 rear for ages.
This results in about 60 mph at 4000 rpm which feels fine to me with regards to all round vibes.
I use the Fj for everything since I have no car. Commuting to work is nice as I can easily nip through traffic with a blip of gas and this eagerness translates well to weekend canyon adventures. As for long distance; one year I rode Route 66 and all worked well. 5000 rpm gets about 75, which buzzed me along quite happily from L.A. To Chicago.
