Need to drill holes in new Fiberglass Chin Fairing!!!!

I was wondering if there is a certain way to go about drilling the holes in my lower chin fairing? It is all fiberglass: and i would die if i screwed it up....!I picked up some rubber washers today at hardware store, this guy said to use blue painters masking tape , when i do drill through,,,,, :good2:
anyways, any thoughts could help ! ty

Yes..................Tape it before you drill...Blue, or green automotive masking tape should work just fine.

And when you mount it to the bike, make sure you use the rubber washers between the fairing, and the mounting tabs.(I believe Randy has the correct ones)
Also use the CORRECT bolts with the sleeves to mount it with...........the sleeves are there to make sure you don't put too much torque on the fairing......it will crack if you don't.
