Ok i've been riding for about 20 yrs. the 1st bike i rode was the fj i just purchased. i rode it when i was 14. then i bought a 1992 GSXR 750 owned it for yrs then sold it and went to riding a busa. then the fj came up for sale and i couldn't pass it up so i bought it. my favorite is still a busa but really just like bikes in general. i'm in to drag racing so power is my addiction. but not really into all out drag bikes, like street/strip bikes. well more later got a wedding to get to.

Jackshaft would probably be the easiest way to go.

Sounds like it would end up being more of a poser bike than anything, but I can relate to the drag racing part of it all.

Not sure that much rubber would make it launch any harder or quicker though, their is a limit and a balance, to each their own.

Car tires on the rear - I know several people running them on certain motorcycles (GL1800's, STAR cruisers, one on a Triumph Rocket III, etc) and they love them. Sure, there is some trade off in handling but it is not that bad and everyone seems to be more than able to adapt.

30-40,000 miles out of a car tire on a tire is not unheard of.

There's a reason why drag racers don't use a 240/300 wheel kit. 

If you really want to make a badass bike in that style, I'd consider doing the entire backhalf thing and putting a big car tire under it.  Doesn't matter though, unless you go with forced induction there won't be enough power to really require this much tire, so it'll be slower than when you started out.

There may be a reason they don't use them but i after a curtain look. A balance between look and power.

Finally found all the parts and peices that i need for my jack shaft swing arm. Now just have to put the design on paper and then start ordering parts and doing the mock up.
