New to list, I own 1984 FJ1100 # 000448. The bike has been sitting for 20 years, starting restoration, any tips or sources please advise. Thank you

Welcome, the list is long, we will help.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I purchased the Cycle new in 1984. It was supposedly the first one sold in my city.

Wow, another original owner story. We would love to hear more of the back story as your rebuild progresses.

I bought mine from the dealer in '89 with 75 miles on it. Practically new, but saved $1K.

Had my 89 from new and 90,000 miles on her. Before that, I had my 86 from new too, and covered just short of 48,000 miles on it.

I love them  :sarcastic:
