Not trying to hurt your feelings, just trying to correct the information.
We know you're "the authority" :-) on most technical items, but its nice to know that you're human too.
Tell you what..... you be right tomorrow, ok ?

Arnie, you've forgotten. Doug hasn't.

Same Motox 20-50 oil as allways. But perhaps I try 10-40, thanks for hint. And if it makes no difference, then new spring by you and Arnie's way  :good2:.

Naaa Mate, It was only a thought if the oil type had changed, which I thought could have been the case from your earlier postings. Being same as always means there`s no shortcut, don`t bother trying a different oil, it`s time to proceed with Arnie`s suggestion as next step. Cheers.

No more slipping  :good2:. I put two springs, eventually, because I couldn't find new plates just now. But clutch is good in this way. I put new bearing in the pressure plate and result was very hmm... interesting. My FJ's engine has never been so quiet  :good2:. Old one was worn, not so much, but enough to make quite much noise.
