Google result is that in recent history 3 countries once banned the bible: China, Afghanistan (under the Taliban) and Kuwait but the only country that currently bans the Bible is North Korea. North Korea bans all religious texts.

Currently the most banned book is Salman Rushdie's "Satanic Verses" - a fatwa is still out for his head BTW. Those religious folks are TOUCHY.
.
You can get shot for being a Christian, Jew, Moslem, Sikh, member of one of many African tribes, and (probably) a big black homo erectus, if you go to the right (wrong?) spot.

BTW, that preacher guy sure has a nice watch.  I always wondered what the attraction some folks have for white-trash con-men.

Never regret your choices in life ! There is no way to go back to do it again and compare. Make the most and do your best with every decision you make

thanks CanDman, nothing wrong with teamwork ;)....the sound really sucked on my version, I knew that but it was all I had. Yes, I know you're a Tull fan, me too. Have been for since the Aqualung album days and heck their drummer's last name was same as mine and he was good! Best concert I ever saw was them in 79', a night to remember for more reasons than one :wacko3:....rock on.

79.....You lucky dawg.....I believe that's when Tull was at it's best....76-79 were there best years in my opinion. Sad to have lost John Glasscock ......but I think Mr. Barlow hadn't left yet. Now you have to tell me why it was your best night.......what was her name and what happened......?  (popcorn)

Kev - yes I was lucky to catch Tull in that era and I agree it was their best times. I saw them 1 or 2 times years later and it wasn't close to the perfection of that night. And yes Barriemore was on the drums. It was the Stormwatch tour and Oct 30th, 1979 is when I saw them in Nashville, I still have the T-shirt.

2 unique things happened I'll never forget. While enjoying the show me and my friend keep smelling this funky sweet smell. Even though we had our own grass stash we were convinced someone was smoking hashish and we were very envious  We keep looking around trying to find our new best friend but just got back looks. The smell drove us crazy, it was very strong and wouldn't go away and we were convinced it hash, hey we had experience with that smell!!!. Finally half way thru the show I saw smoke coming up between us. He had stuck his leather jacket down between our seats and in passing back and forth the doobie we were sharing apparently the fire fell out of it and landed on his leather jacket and slowly burned a hole in it the size of a dime while creating ' the smell '  :negative:

Things 'perked up' a little after the show. I'm driving setting in traffic and a car stopped beside me in left lane even though there was no car in front of it. I looked over and it was an old Cadillac with 3 people in front seat. The girl by the window looked just like Valerie Bertinelli  and I honestly thought it was her until I saw the huge boobs in a halter top. As she rolled the window down she gave me the smile of a lifetime and said 'Hi". She then took down her halter top and laid up on top of the door the 2 most beautiful, big, perfect & most rememorable things I'd ever seen in my 18 years of life and giving me that smile. I can imagine the stunned/stoned look on my face, they then speed away laughing. A line of cars came behind them so I could not pull out and I lost them at next red light. All the concerts and other shit I've forgotten through the years would be enough to fill up IBM's memory tank but that night is clearly etched in my mind and it started with a great rock & roll show.

Louie....(Legal Disclamier: Hey this was 1979!!!! haha  :bye:  :mocking:
