I just want to be searching for the truth...  that's all.  I do believe there's a reason we're doing all of this, but I admit I don't understand it and I suspect none of you do either.  Kev - please accept my acknowledgement of your position.  I'm good with it if you are.

Sorry, about the best I can say there would be "Distant Suns" (or similar PC Planetarium/Starmap) on a laptop or handheld device. 
The FJ would be good for getting far from the city lights, no doubt.
Distant Suns is available in several formats, and it was endorsed by Arthur C. Clarke (author and inventor of the TV satellite system now in use worldwide).

Thanks, Red, Yeah, distant suns is pretty good. I've used it in the past on the PC, but not on android yet. I've just been thinking that I should try building a mounting point for an EQ mount for one of my 5" maks. I definitely don't want to transport  my sct or refractor scopes by bike.. I think the mass of the FJ, with a little bracing, should make a stable platform.

.......acknowledged........the most honest thing any human could ever say..." I can't be 100% sure...but from what I have seen and experienced in life so far......it is what I believe". You may not agree with me or I with you....but I would love to sit down one day and share experiences with you.....

We're all on a quest......and we all share the same questions....who am I ? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
Is it really such a stretch to believe someone put us here? It does not ruin me or my belief to think that God has always been and that the universe is probably not far behind......maybe our Galaxy is a young one and our existence relatively new........to me it is irrelevant.....the length of time or the age of the universe is not the deciding factor that for me to embrace the thought that someone put us all here on this tiny bubble.....plants and animals alike.
Finding God.......to me.........is not going to happen in a building....or an idea....or in another man.....or flying into a building.....or coming back from a drowning accident......or listening to someone else's sales pitch......be it a respected scientist.....or a charismatic preacher ........it will happen one day.....sitting alone...watching a sunset....or listening to the ocean roar....or looking up into the vastness of our universe....and realizing that life is a miracle and that somehow I am a part of it....wow !!! Gives me goose bumps to say it !!! I Love you all......and wish all of you ....a Fabulous Journey
