That FJ sits alot lower than stock ride height.
Looks like its been lowered for drag racing, so unless that is going to be your intended purpose, I'd look into what was done to make it so low in the rear, or it's not going to handle worth a damn.

Good luck.
My 91 was stock other than the Corbin seat when I bought it, but now it's an entirely different machine, thanks to all the great contributors here fjowners.com.

thanks for the heads up 1tin, i guess first ill try to get the geometry as close to stock as possible, and then modify it to suit my tastes from there. And no, im not much into drag racing. I live a few miles from the zmax dragstrip in charlotte. sounds like a 25mm vulcan going off.

no...im not much into drag racing....

I tried drag racing once before.  I lost miserably!  Who'd have thought he could run that fast in those heels?

The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

and the more i look at the pics, the more i find myself wondering:
"where the heck is the center stand?"
I am DEFINITELY going to need one of those, i dont want to pull my hundred year old garage down on top of myself trying to hang it from the rafters.
