Ladies and gentlemen...it is official. As of this morning, I have reserved a chalet at "The Sands on Golden Lake" for the weekend of September 20th and 21st for the Friday and Saturday nights. Two rooms in the 1 chalet are available and 2 chalets (sleep 6) are still available. There are rooms with various options for members to pair up and split the room cost. Couples are welcome.....in fact anyone is welcome if you should want to bring a friend, or a relative. Rooms can be held without paying, you only need to provide a credit card to secure the room and payment can be made upon checkout. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy but I would suggest if you are pairing up with another member, that you prepay the room.
I have booked a separate room for the Thursday night, as I will be playing a round of golf there on the Friday and moving into the Chalet when I finish my golf game. Once you have committed to attending...please add your name to the list below as a confirmation as well as where you will be coming from. Also indicate if you will be alone or with someone and the room you have reserved. There is plenty of time before this event however I would like to make all aware that this was the only weekend available to a group and securing your room should be done as soon as possible to ensure your participation in "Ontario's 1st Summer Rally". Please do not be afraid to make any suggestions...all cameras and video are encouraged. A video and photos will be posted of the event...so bring your camera gear as well. The Rally rides will be throughout the Calabogie area on Saturday and Sunday; Sundays ride ending around 3. Look forward to seeing you there

Thats great Bob.... I was hoping you and Dan could help put together some route options. You will have to at least stay the one night for the Bonfire and social BS...... (I mean.....campfire stories... :mocking:) :drinks:
Plus... I will be firing up the BBQ al weekend.....and I plan on a feast !!!! :nyam1:

Keep in mind that you have a 48 hr window to cancel......so just give them your name and a credit card and try to find a roomie....If you don't then you can adjust your sleeping arrangements with 2 days of the Rally.... it's better to book and have something than to wait and have nothing.........just call them and secure a room.........find a roomie and it's 5o bucks a night...thats cheaper than what they are paying for a room at the WCR for a cabin........ you snoooze....you looooooze.........Marsh will not make a category for our own Rally until he's sees a genuine interest in the event...I have spoken to him and he is very supportive.....so read the thread again and follow the few simple instructions on how to bring this off.....and it will happen :good2:

I have always had the highest respect and affection for you and your friendship.....and I miss your company and friendship.
