Just fitting new o-rings to intake manifolds, does anyone know what I should be torquing the screws too when refitting them?

Torque them to tight enough.... Does the GYSM have a torque for this? I always did this by feel...
That's why I'm asking, I cannot find anything in the GYSM but a table with general bolt sizes should be torqued to this.
I'm generally pretty good with doing things up tight BUT there has been the odd one that I've had to tap out and make it the next size bolt up and I'm trying to avoid this
General torque is based on rigid thread mates. I would say tighten till it seems almost too tight. Not that it helps as my method is very subjective. But it is an O-ring and in a quite flexible assembly. If it helps, this is rarely reported as a failed point of over/under tightening, meaning it is very accepting of a wider range of torque.

An Allen key is only a couple of inches long so tightening till it starts to hurt your hand is tight enough. I don't worry about a torque wrench on small to medium bolts as normally the spanner that fits is short enough so the leverage from that prevents you from overtighting things, unless your a gorilla.
Things like head bolts I'll use a torque wrench, but otherwise I don't bother.

That is true but when you have these socket sets with Allen key adaptors to fit in the wrench it make it easier to do up Tight.
I'll just use common sense and feel :crazy:
