I was looking at the fj mod site and saw the turbo fj that Bob Shammas built, Does anyone know if he is still around maybe even a member of this forum. I'm also from Ann Arbor and a good friend of mine worked at nsk for like 20 years till they shut down a few years back. Would just like to talk to some one in my area that has had so much experience with fjs :drinks:
the only turbo'ed fj i recall was jon jarosz's, he was a contributor to one of the fj online sites about 8 years ago...
I heard about this guy from http://www.fjmods.btinternet.co.uk/ (http://www.fjmods.btinternet.co.uk/) was just looking and noticed he is from the same town as me and probably hangs with the same people but ive never seen him before so just wondering if he is still around or not, maybe he even has some spare parts or just looking for me to buy him a beer so i can pic his brain. :drinks:

Wasn't a turbo. Nitrous and later a blower.

Looks like a little while since any updates have been made, but he has(had?) a performance shop in the area.
Would be cool to talk to him about tranmission durability on an FJ being used on the strip...
thanks for all the help, Looks like i should have just googled his name. To bad he sold the bike it was real nice.
