Honda CRV-X was pretty unfortunate, too. Especially considering it was marketed towards women.

In high school we had a wild man janitor that had an 85 or 86. I bugged him a year prior to take me for a ride on this beast. Next year came and I asked again. He said bring a helmet at lunch and  i will take you. Longer story shorter version. He would snap the throttle blades scream into second via speed shift and oh shit did the front not rise. I could see the small tach over his shoulder which looked fully wrapped around at 11000. The first time we came down I helmet smacked him, I thought I better not do that again, I grabbed the back bar with my right and my left around his large belly. He did this in front of four different high schools. I still get freaked out when I think about it.  I tried to keep it short. V MAX is a straight up brute. cheers. :i_am_so_happy:

I had an early one and one of my co workers who also was a long time rider wanted to take it out for a spin. There was a nice stretch of paved road just off the base with very little traffic. I told  him to take it out there run her up to 30 mph and fairly rapidly roll the throttle on until it is at full stop shift accordingly and count for 6 seconds. He quit at 4...... Scared the shit out of him, but he did have a smile on his face.....

Ride a 2nd generation VMax, they are phucking awesome!

1st Generation did not impress me - don't get me wrong, I'd love to own one, but after riding a few, they do not handle that well and are not as quick or fast as some would lead to to believe - the FJ is superior in most areas, except in street creed - the Vmax is a VMax, the look, people know, you don't mess with Mr. Max!
