My highest year was 1988 with 22k but that was some time ago.
Multiple X country trips on the FJ and daily commute from Palm Desert to Pine Cove via Hwy 74.
Currently I average about 7-8k a year. (4k on the WCR after tour)
Now that I am retired I thought my tour mileage would go up but sadly no...my wife and I have been traveling, sans motorcycle.

Over my 44 year riding career I'm over the half million mile mark with over 200k of that on FJ's.

Cheers.

If we gave out the "iron butt" award you would be a contender for sure.

Ha! no Iron Butt award for me...just "butt"....
The most I've ever traveled in 24 hrs was 825 miles...and I did not want to even look at my bike the next day... I was sore. It was not fun.

I can do and have done, multiple days back to back to back 600+ interstate miles easily.... and multiple 400 mile days of back twisty roads.

The mighty FJ, Corbin seat, man panties and my camel back makes it easy....

1000 mile days are *way* out of my league.  I would hallucinate and crash.

I do about 5000 km a year. I ride to work everyday but that's only a 12km round trip, don't go for as many weekend rides as I'd like to either.

Too young to be old but old enough to know better.

I'm only doing about 5000 kms per year at the mo due to being no real nice twisties close by. Early 80s I clocked 85,000kms in 2.5 years on a GS1000G, lots of dirt roads and all. One trip from Pannawonica to Bathurst and back in 83, 17,500kms in 3.5 weeks! No bike from 1987 til 2011 when I bought the FJ. Need to get down SW WA to find some real corners again.

Best year ever was 1986. 34,000 kl on an FZ 750. Includes a trip from Niagara Falls to Vancouver. Now probably 10,000 per year. I cannot ride it to work so only weekends and trips. Maybe I should get a job. So I can ride to work. Put 30,000 per year on my truck as a contractor.

The ridding season is March through October here. During that time I ride about 4,000 miles with no commuting, play miles only. Mostly on the weekends.

Lately, not enough.  If I don't get tires ordered this week, I am in danger of riding 4 FJ  rallies on the same set of tires.  These were new before the 2012 Boone rally and the bike turned 100,000 on the way home; the bike has 106,000 now, so I've ridden the FJ 6,500 miles in 15 months.  (I rode an additional 1,000 miles ferrying a Ducati 916 from New Haven to Atlanta the day before Hurricane Sandy hit.  Andrew did about 200 of those miles on the 916 while I rode his EX500.)

Andrew put about 5,000 miles on my wife's 250 Ninja and about 5,000 miles so far on his EX500.  (Last weekend was the first time I got to see him ride a bike with two new tires on it - a pair of BT-090 radials on the EX500, instead of the squared-off Chinese tires it had last year.)

In better days, I would commute and tour regularly and do 8,000 to 10,000 miles in a good year.  Fifteen years ago, I did a Thursday track day at Road Atlanta and went to NYC Friday for a party, came home Sunday night - 2,400 miles in four days.  Would love to do something like that again, but need a better seat.

None of us hold a candle to Mike Ramos, who rides from northern California to the Smokies in basically one sitting just to come ride with us.  He rides more to/from/during a single FJ rally than I ride most years.
