1984 1100----I don't know what to call it, the rail that runs around the back of the seat.  Looked for a yamaha part #/description and could not find it on the parts fische. What?   I am going to have one modified into a backrest and need to know what to call it for starters. Grab rail?

It is called a 'Rear Stay' http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/yamaha/YP-36Y-21645-00-00.html located in the 'Fender' section of the parts Microfiche.
