Was a lot of fun Tony. Museum was great, food at the pub huge and tasty, beer was icy cold.
I'm  a bit tired now, trying to stay awake to watch the F1 from Monza, had a good run home. I turned off at Harrisville then followed through to Peak Crossing and Yamanto, sun was setting and I thought I don't want to be out here when all those pesky kangaroochies start hopping around. Got home around 6.15pm. Bike was good, you've got me thinking about those Hagon shocks now. I didn't realise there is an Australian distributor for them. Still don't have any money, but anyway......

Time for a coffee and watch the F1,  :drinks:

Thanks again Tony. Got home at 10.15pm. What a great day. (Nice pace too!) Had no Idea on the variety of species at the museum. What a coincidence running into FJ Paul. ....and how Australian is Rudd`s Pub. A little gem loaded with Aussie History & humour that I didn`t know existed...

On the way home with just me, the forest and a setting sun, I was thinkin that maybe I do need the rear wheel conversion. She seemed to want to follow those little lines in the tar and around 130 or so, got real wobbley overtaking some cars...seemed ta get worse when I slowed....a rear flat tyre does that apparently! (Never had one on a road bike before!)...Lucky I wasn`t hookin into some of those twisties at the time...Puncture kit didn`t fix it...but eventually enjoyed the company of David & Daniel Cannel from DBC Mechanical services Toogoolawa, as they drove me the last 140klms to my door, in their Tilt Truck (at no cost to me)...I love Country people!. ...Pics to follow.  :drinks:

Flat tyre. That sux.
That cruiser mob I was waiting for were a no show.
All was good .I sat waiting in the Sundowner hotel in front of the museum.
Watching the locals yocals come in for there Sunday session.
Had a great ride home around the dams.
Took the scenic route through Malaney and Kenilworth.
Had everthing from tight twisties to high speed sweepers.
As always was great to catch up with my fellow FJ'ers

Sorry to hear about your flat tyre Doug, these things always seem to happen at the wrong time, and it would've been worse being on your own.

Like you I've never had a flat tyre on a road bike, but had a big lump appear on the front tyre under the tread when the belts or something let go near Maleny, we also enjoyed a ride home in a flatbed truck free of charge. like the ad says, RACQ it pays to belong.

Some people's idea of free speech is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone says anything back that is an outrage.

OK, I've managed to put a short video of snippets of the Nobby run on You Tube. It wouldn't let me upload in the size I wanted, so the picture might be a bit small, but you'll get the idea. I'll put the full footage on DVD and give each person on there a copy at the man shed day.

No, not on the fly Ray, although that option I think is available now with remote controls and whatever. I do it the old fashion way and it takes many hours hunched over a hot computer with many beers to sync both videos together.
