My wifes bike is a 49 state model.
I am putting a California tank on it.

The Cal tank has a one way vacuum valve on the front. It branches into some check valves then to vacuum ports on the intake.
So, my question is:
If I take out the vacuum valve and plug it off.
Vent the gas cap via the taking out the one way diaphram.

Will it work?

OR:
Should I leave the valve in and run the vacuum lines to the intake?
