Hey there, just picked up fzr 1988 rim without the brake disks. Any suggestions for what you disks to look for?
Thanks,
Eyal

Thank you. There are two models suggested, one for FJ1200 89+ and the other is for ZFR 88. Are these the same product? Are the bolt patterns of the FJ and FZR are identical? Do you have a manufacturer part number that will allow me to search for a reseller in North America?

Thanks,

Eyal

The pattern is the same, but the disc diameter is not.

Get the FJ discs.

I will put R1 calipers on the FJ1200 89 fork. Would that make any difference?

I have an 88' FZR front wheel with a set of Arashi brake rotors. They are very inexpensive and very good.

Here is a link to a seller on eBay.

The photo is on an 88' FZR wheel with the FJ designated Arashi Rotors and a set of 01' R1 Calipers on 89' forks. Hope that clears everything up for you.
