HEY ALL
Waiting for pod filters....started to take carbs apart don't understand something ...When I did get the bike started I tried using the choke while running to see what would happen ...the bike would run slower and stall, Kind of made sense.
But I have discovered all four inlets to choke circuit are blocked in bottom of float bowls and the link hole up to the float bowl flange ....I have cleaned these out. Question is why was bike stalling before seeing that the ports to feed extra gas were blocked???

Because it was too lean.
The choke plungers open up a passage for fuel and AIR.  You were letting in a bunch of extra air with no additional fuel.  That's why it stalled.
