Never have had to go through anything like that. Just hope all is well. Just sitting here in the air conditioned easy chair watching the news and hoping all is well at his location. Nobody needs that kind of stress.

Hey guys, the home in Palm Desert is fine, but the cabin in Pine Cove is another story...Mandatory evacuations there..... We will see which way the wind blows tonight. Fingers are crossed.

Oops, sorry for the late reply.

Just when things looked the worst, monsoon thundershowers came in and rained for 3 days straight, put out the fire.

A relatively rare event in July. Go figure.  The town is saved. All is well.
