I was going on what Rover said about his Air Hawk in Bellingen earlier this year Noel, sounds like it does the job. I'm going to read a few reviews first though, and then check into getting the FJ seat refoamed. 20 years is a long time when it comes to older technology foam seating, the newer viscoelastic type memory foams that we sell now for dental chair use are extremely good. Going to check into both options,  :drinks:

Ray am going to organise to get a couple from the U.S, they were very cheap there, an extra one wouldn't add that much more to the cost.

You've tried Brett's seat and think you've sat on mine. If you want your seat done get John Moorehouse to do it in fact call me and I'll tell you where he is, if you go somewhere else USE HIGH DENSITY FOAM!!!!

Get the neoprene one dearer but sooooo much better. I have both and will not get the cheep one again. The rubber on mine has perished and I use tent seam seal to fix it. I will replace it one day but as said you get what you pay for.

Cheers

edit... have done 80000km on the neoprene one..

Thanks chaps, will look into both options, (seat refoaming vs Air Hawk).  Shoot, I'd better get a room booked, lol, still haven't done that.

Best start saving. I've noticed the guys with the modded seats still use the Air Halk on longer rides
I want to get a corbin or a moorehouse before the Snowys. I will still be getting another Air Halk for myself.
Richards spare one saved my ass last rally

G'day Blokes, I can't make it again this year.
Long week ends are prime times for travellers to stay in B&B Accomodation.
Hopefully I will be thinking of you all while I'm telling jokes and serving Breakfasts to a full house.
By the Way, if you can drop in on the Khancoban Bike Festival. Ask for my mate Dave Harrison and say G'day.
And Hang around to listen to the Band "Three on the Tree" Outstanding.
Be Good.
Macca.
:yahoo:
Hold on. I've got a pass from "The War Office" to go if I like.
Lesley spotted Arnie's email to me and asked what was going on.
Clutching my hat to my chest, I explained all about the Rally and how much I would enjoy chatting with all my like minded mates.
She simpathised with me and the rest as they say is history.
Looks like I'm going after all Guys. I can't wait to catch up with you all.
Be Good 'til then.

Looks like the Mrs (Izabella) and I will be going, (bloody Doug mentioning the shops nearby). We'll most likely leave the car/ trailer in SA and travel through Mildura. Can't wait to see you all again. This time Pete I go on your ride, looking forward to it.

Any suggestions on the most scenic route from Mildura - Arnie / Pete your the best at this.

HAHAHaaa good one Pete, prefer blacktop please, dirt is only optional if the scenery is to die for. I also decided to tie my wallet down with a couple of ockie straps or I'll make sure "bloodhound" Joe is behind me.

Forget about the ockie straps John. I'm sure Izabella will look after your wallet better than you did. Has anybody told her how good the shops are in Jindabyne?

The ones we need according to http://www.airhawk-imports.com.au/product_03.html Doug is the Medium Cruiser size. Only $139.00 for the polyurethane version. Is this the one you were going to order?

Edit:  Ah no, Richard advises to go for the Neoprene model, $199.00

Here are some choices.  Sorry, there's no good route I know getting across from Mildura to about Wodonga, but most of these stay by the Murray River, and go through Rutherglen (for wine) and Yarrawonga.

http://goo.gl/maps/nhlsG   If you go this way, check out Mt.Granya
