FJ MCC VII

OK, I'm sure everyone on this forum has read both of these excellent books by Keith Code. I bought and read them both, along with Code's Soft Science of Motorcycle Roadracing, back in 1990, when I got my first FJ. In the intervening 23 years, the books somehow wandered away...
Having just bought another FJ, I've been wanting to refresh my memory, and was pleased to find TOTW 1 and 2 available as PDFs for free.

TOTW 1 - http://www.aussiestreetbikes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14869

TOTW 2 - http://files.meetup.com/1510087/A%20Twist%20of%20the%20Wrist%20II.pdf

The acting is a bit corny in the vid, but it's well worth watching. The books are absolutely the best info on high speed motorcycle riding available.
If you've read them, and misplaced your copies like I did, well, here ya go. If you own an FJ and haven't read these books, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! It's Sunday (in Texas), take the time to DL and read these books. Seriously. It will probably save you some skin.

I'm not saying these books will make you an expert rider, and I'm not saying I'm an expert rider, but I've ridden FJ's about 100,000 miles, and never gotten off one when I didn't want to, except the one time a car turned left into my front fork. And I am saying that there are no expert riders who do not understand and practice the techniques taught in these books. Free wisdom is even better than free beer. Enjoy!

And I did actually buy these books, so I don't feel like I'm "pirating" anything. If you're worried about intellectual property, you can buy them for $20 each here: http://www.atwistofthewrist.com/
The Yamaha FJ is the perfect motorcycle - comfortable enough to ride 500 miles in a day, fast enough to do it in 7 hours. Really.

I've read both of them and there's no doubt the information is TOTW is excellent and necessary.  However, I found Code's delivery a bit ponderous.
I preferred Sport Riding Techniques by Nick Ienatsch (also author of The Pace).

Sorry, no free download, but an excellent resource if you're looking to add to your library.
