We found the problem. But first, thank you Charlie for riding down to Burlington to help with the relay wiring. After hours of tracing lines on the schematics, the voltage loss was found at the fuse socket, actually the ignition fuse connection was loose. We cleaned up the connection and wala, there is power to the relay. Charlie's calm nature helped me to calm down. I was ready to donate the bike to the local salvation army. I am thankful for a great new friendship, and am looking for a ride.

Mark, welcome to it is a wonderful community. Make sure to be online on your trip, because help is just a few clicks away.

Glad to hear you got it all sorted out. If I have an electrical issues I will be sure to look Charlie up.

Just took delivery of my new braided lines for my FJ. (Tiger's recomendation.) Elite Auto Service (Raymond). www.eliteauto.co   416 291 3953

$154.00 + taxes $175.04.  $8.00 delivery

I'll hide it from the warded then wrap it up and put it under the tree for her Christmass gift. After she hits me in the head with it and banishes me to the garage it will give me an excuss to put them on while she cooks dinner.

:good2: Two thumbs up to all of you guys :good2:

The FJ clinic was intended to help take away some of the fear/mystic of wrenching/trouble shooting ones FJ. To get guys with a common bond together...and then share their experiences, not just on the day but on a more permanent/regular basis... :praising:

This one (wet, rainy) day brought together a dozen people, all willing to chip in and help one another to get the best out of their FJ's and in some cases alleviate a frustration or two!!...I believe that reading this thread you get the feeling that friendships are being formed that will flourish and create a strong core of FJ owners here in Southern Ontario.

Gentlemen, I salute you one and all, for making the effort and turning this in to a successful role model... maybe for others to follow in other areas... :drinks:

Just goes to prove what a great site this is boys and girlie's...and long may it continue :yahoo:

John.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!
