My name is Lilly. I attended the 2013 west coast rally just this weekend. Let me just say, what a great group of people to surround yourself with! Well rounded, incredibly knowledgable, and very entertaining! I look forward to the next rally.  :yahoo:

I currently do not own an FJ  :dash2: however I hope to work up to one eventually. At the moment I am preoccupied with a 85' VFR500 that will eventually be my pink street rocket (much to pat's dismay) but looking forward to absorbing as much information as possible and seeing you all next year!!!  :good:

Till then, ride safe and be merry!  :drinks:
May the road rise to meet you,
may the wind be ever at your back, and
may the sun shine warm upon your face.

Welcome to the group Lilly,

how did you come to find out about the FJ rally?

If you survived Klavdy then you will fit right in around here!  :drinks:

KOokaloo!

Ha! Klavdy was quiet tolerable ;) I learned of the forum thanks to Skymasteres who is currently building his FJ is our living room. I got a nice taste of the forum from the rally this weekend and I feel like I've tapped some great information resources here. Looking forward to the next rally and building my VFR :)  :good:

Welcome to the group Lilly. I have heard some great stories about the WCR.

My first street bike was an 86' VF500F. I absolutely loved riding that bike. You will miss the nimbleness of the VF, but you will fall in love with the torgue the FJ has.

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

Welcome Lilly. It was nice to meet you at the WCR ! It is a great group of people and to anyone that hasn't attended a rally I would strongly encourage them to attend one. It doesn't matter what you ride, all that matters is attend. You will never find a finer group to be with. As Mark said to another member in another post "just show up".

:hi: Hi and welcome from the great white north lilly. Always nice to have a female rider around  :good2:

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!

LillioftheValley

I totally agree! If you haven't been to a rally you really must go! Even if you are just getting started (like me) you REALLY want to be surrounding yourself with like minded people like these who have had past experience with these motorcycles.

Thanks everyone for the greeting! It was wonderful to meet you all and I am so excited for next year and having my 500 running. I'm sorry I missed the potato gun firing :( also I am looking into next year possible rally locations as well. I realize you guys have been to Willets already but that sounds like such a wonderful place to visit! any thoughs  on the matter?
