Suzuki RF900 parts fit??

 :hi: Hmmmm, my brother has a real nice Suzuki RF900, plus a load of spare parts... including front forks, swing arm, 17" F/R wheels and calipers...

My question to the wise and knowledgeable is this, would they fit my '85 FJ :scratch_one-s_head:

I know the rear disc rotor for a 94' RF900 is compatible with the 92' GSXR750 rear wheel.

I think a bit of experimentation is in order here John. Should be an interesting project. Keep us informed of your progress and of course, post up plenty of pic's along the way.    :rofl2:   Pete.

I'm thinking that this will be a winter project. I need to take some measurements first off, before I rip her down again :mail1:

It was one of those..."I wonder if anyone has used RF900 parts on an FJ yet" type moments, when I saw all of the spares my brother has in his garage!!

A quick search shows that the forks are 43mm. A 1989/90 FZR1000 triple is for 43mm forks and should have the same offset and bearings as an FJ. If you get a chance could you measure the fork length, and let us know?
