Beautiful, one of my favorites from the era, but I preferred the AMX.

Awesome wheels man. Love those old AMX,s even tho I am a ford man at heart.

Stable getting closer to complete all the time.  Between work and play (riding), it's hard to get things done.

Didn't think I should start a new thread, seeing as it's "What did you do with your FJ today?".  Received oil pan, front rotors, June 1984 edition of Cycle magazine, and a collector card.    Parts cleaned up well and rotors look to have lots of wear left.

Noticed you had some cardboard under the bike catching an oil leak, hence the oil pan clean up?

That Cycle mag is awesome, I'd love to get one of those.

Not everyone understands what a completely rational process this maintenance of a motorcycle is. They think it's some kind of a knack or some kind of affinity for machines in operation. They are right, but the knack is almost purely a process of reason.

Andrew, small oil leak from stripped oil drain bolt on existing pan.  Next oil change I will try correct washer to see if it stops the leak, otherwise I'll be putting on the one in pictures.  Fintip, I saw another of these magazines on e-bay too.

I wish my stable was that nice and large. With stereo speakers too. I hope the horses have not been put up for the winter.  Dave
A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

Stable finally completed.

Two CLASSICS and the grocery getter. The new stable looks great.

Looking good Kevin! If I'm not mistaken, that stable looks light by approximately one FJ... or is it shy and hiding from the camera?

Derek

p.s.: Doing the Port Alberni toy run this Saturday. Are you going?
