Edit:// BTW: Does anybody here know weight difference between 1100/1200/blue dot calipers?

No such animal as 1100/1200 blue dot calipers.
The Yamaha monoblock calipers come in 3 colors, blue, silver and gold and they come from different models, like the 600/750/1000YZF R, the FZ-1 and the FJR to name just a few.
The gold monoblock calipers are the lightest as they use aluminum pistons. The others use stainless steel pistons. We are talking a few grams difference....nothing of significance on a street bike.

We always say 'blue dot calipers' here on the forum when we really should say 'axial monoblock calipers'.
They can be any of the three colors and work the same.

Thanks, that is not a big issue, just somebody here mentioned, that monoblocks are lightest. As it is not significant difference, I don't care about few grams.
Gold dots are really huge and I am afraid there will be not enough space between 16" rim and 298mm rotors
(16"x2,54-29,8)/2 makes 5,42cm to sneak caliper into its place
I am starting to think about Triumph 4pots, these are bolt on to my current fork and hopefully it will be better even with current MC,
just hard to find here pair for sale.

Pic. from RD350, but bolt pattern is same 83/84mm.
