2nd gear

Hi, Everyone,

I own an FJ1100, 1984.  Second gear is gone and is in the process of being torn apart.  I have searched high and low for a new second gear.  I have found the shift forks and pinions, but not second gear.  Does anyone out there know of either a reputable place to purchase a new second gear, or have a used transmission that has a working second gear in it for sale.  Thanks for any help.

You should fix more than 2nd gear now that you have it cracked open. Check out Randy at www.rpmracingca.com, he can provide the under cut dogs so they don't jump out under load. Stronger shift forks are good, add under cut dogs and you have a proper fix.

Randy's the man for this stuff. I have 2nd gear problems too, just as soon as I can afford it I'll be buying all the parts to fix it up from him. Good prices and even better customer service
