Just looking for some advice here.  I have an opportunity to purchase this seat.  It's never been used after being reupholstered, and obviously won't flow with any stock color scheme.  I don't really need another seat as I already have a Corbin Gunfighter and a stock seat in good condition for 2-up.  I thought of selling my stock seat to offset the cost but according to e-bay they're not worth much.  Your opinion please, good our gaudy...

The seat:

My 2 cents worth.

I would buy the Bumble Bee seat, and hold on to the stock seat. I would use the Bumble Bee seat while riding around town/commuting and the Corbin on the 100+ mile rides.

If your just looking to justify buying it hel ya it would look good
When it comes to buyiing moterbike and parts I go buy the advice a preacher gave my dad ha said, If your wife says she needs a new pair of shes she needs a new pair of shoes.  If I need a new bike I need a new bike

Dads_FJ

The hardest part about justifying buying it is that my FJ needs some parts to help it perform better (RPM fork valves & a carb rebuild kit come to mind).  Form follows function know what I mean?  Perhaps an order to RPM is in order first then some eye-candy.

An other option might be to recover your stock seat use the stripes on the bike for inspiration, just a thought. Hope this helps and FJ looks great!!!

LOL, from the looks of your garage you have the same problem I do.  To many toys and not enough time.  I have several modifications planned for my bike but other things keep on stealing my time from the bike(house, wife, kids, 66mustang).  I hate to tear it down until I have all my ducks in a row so I only have to do it once.

So whatcha gonna do? (popcorn)

I bet that seat would look good on it.  :blum2:

So... just purchase some carb rebuild stuff from RPM, and made an offer on the seat...  Still a lot of time until riding season so I'll order the fork valves next.

Awesome stang. I used to have a 67 and have been kicking my butt for selling it. I used to drag race it as well as drive it on the street, 486 gears were not to good at hiway speeds. Big R

Mine when I bought it.  I'm getting ready to paint it.  When it's finished I'll post some new pics.

I like yours too.  I've always wanted a black one so this one is going black later this year.  Right now I'm doing the engine and drive train.  When I'm happy there it goes for paint.  I'm more in this car as a driver so I'm hoping up the I6 in it instead of putting in a V8.  I enjoy doing things differently.  Kinda why I enjoy my FJ so much.  There isn't another anywhere around where I live.
