I am considering getting these pegs. Has anyone used these or any other type of non-stock pegs?

Hi Fred, I was looking at those. I like the ability to clock them, to get them where you want.
Go ahead and try them out and let us know how they work...

Tiny Tim has some sort of Buell pegs on his FJ for a bit more legroom, not sure what model though.  They may be unavailable by now anyway.

If I could borrow a set I might figure out how to make them.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I'm 6'8" and installed the buell lowering pegs, it made a huge difference in comfort for me.

Here's a good video that shows the construction and installation.  Twisted Throttle sells them in the U.S. but I didn't see that they have one to fit the FJ.  ?

Good find. I have sent Twisted Throttle an email asking if they carry the adjustable pegs for our bikes.

I installed these passenger floorboards for my wife this summer.

http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/iso-passenger-floorboards-various-metric-cruiser-models-pair/part/KY-4455

They were not listed to fit an FJ, however it was listed that they fit Yamaha Virago from the same(ish) vintage as the FJ, so I looked at some pictures of the Virago pegs, took a chance and ordered a set and they fit perfectly.

I guess my point is they may not know they have a match.  anxious to see....  thanks for making the effort.

Greetings, I am using the adjustable footpegs for the passenger. They allow me to rotate the position forward to allow better clearance for the passenger mounting the bike when using the installed Givi bags. They are excellent quality. For the front  I am using Buell Ulysses footpegs. They provide a one inch drop; only require a minor modification to the footpeg mounting bracket and the one inch drop does not foul the side stand [two inch drop will]. I purchase the adjustable pegs from Wild Hare Accessories/

I purchase the Buell pegs on eBay/

]   they say buell right on them. bought them on ebay for 30 bucks. I had to drill out the holes on the stock fj brackets and just used some larger stainless bolts.
