Just booked a Cabin today for Mark O and myself.....  Cabin #272.  Seems 273 and 274 are still available.  Go get em..

I already have Kabin 274 booked for me.
I just spoke to the gentleman at the Koa, and as of right now, he is leaving the rest of that row open for our group(Kabins 275 thru 279). He also said he hand a handful of Kabins in other areas of the campground available during that time, so there are still plenty of Kabins available for everyone!
They have a ton of them left, so call and get yours reserved.  :yahoo:

Hello Marsh,
I dont know how to send a message to all members. Please forward info. Cabin 267 is available again. I changed our reservations to cabin 257. If everyone has already made their reservations, I would assume it would be ok for the person booked at the end to switch with 267 this way everyone is still all together.
Thx,
Chandra

I reserved site 263, a tent site. There is room if anyone is thinking about tenting it. The site is for 6. I asked what the dimensions of the site was and he didn't know but said it was big enough for two tents ?

Life isn't about having the best, but about making the best of what you have...

$120 a night now?
Jeez, do they tickle your balls for that too?
I hear your the tickler Klav thats why your room is so cheap  :rofl2:
No worries buddy, I'll tickle your balls as I give you a reach around, its all part of the service.
Well, it has been said if you can't get a hot chick, get a clean old dude with a beard.
The only reaching around will be you grabbing your a## cheecks as you climb off that bloody italian import  :sarcastic: :rofl2:

Just did what I assume to be the route one of the day to Skaggs, and got the performance award to show for it :dash2:

Will be writing it up and posting pics/videos for ya'll tomorrow or the next day.

Coast side of Skaggs was in awful shape, middle section was better but lots of ice clay still on the road. The good section, was awesome and it was kinda funny to see Bunny (My g/f) get off the bike with a big ole grin on her face.

We have an advanced scout, cool, now get all the cool roads..
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

I actually lead quite a few rides locally through a forum, the Bay Area Riders Forum, or BARF.

I can definitely point out some good roads in the area and some routes that I've done previously that are guud for groups of riders. Let me know what routes you are thinking of and I will make sure to scout them for ya :good2:

You mean you did not see the 200 lb pig near the side of the road...?

We saw one during the renegade rally of 2012, then we got a close up as well.

Nope, I failed to notice the Leo in the Sheriff truck behind the car behind me when I ducked out to pass the slow ass mexicans in the car in front of me. Those sheriff trucks are quick  :ireful:

good vid of the road . counted 4 cars and 1 motorcycle coming the other way.

the road is starting to look a little worn , saw tar snakes at 9 min into the vid . still in good shape , I just hope they don't tar it up before the rally.

where you ended is where we take the fj photos overlooking the lake.

Yeah, that overlook is a great spot and if you're guud you can pull your bike right down to the overlook itself...

The tar snakes weren't really bad until you got to the East side of the road, then there were a couple that made me uncomfortable.

Did you see the dead boar on the road? That was a new one for me on Skaggs  :unknown:

Mark Olson

the dead boar was a new feature of the road .  skunks and other critters I have seen there before and usually the broken bits of an R-1 .

Hey guys, I know I missed the rally last year (Since I went way down the rabbit hole with my project)
But I'm shooting to get this thing finished by the end of the month.

Does anyone possibly want to share a cabin? (I'd need two spots as I'd be brining my girlfriend.)
I'd be willing to split the cost with you. (It just seems dumb to me to rent a 4-6 person cabin for two)

Otherwise I'll just pack the tent.
