Merry Christmas from snowy Nanaimo, BC, Canada! We hope you're all happy and healthy and are spending the holidays with your loved ones!

Was a great day here, even though I won't get to try out my new Christmas presents for another 5 months...hopefully the snow will be gone by then!!

My new presents...(from the best girlfriend EVER!)

A very happy (spoiled) FJ Owner!

Home from Christmas dinner now.  Was great to see the family.  More of the same tomorrow. :good2:  Snow turned to rain of course :negative:

Watch is cool, travel mug is a genuine Yamaha part which is sweet.  Can't wait to try the Corbin!

Merry Christmas to all!  In the middle of a good ole' fashion snow storm here on the North Shore of Lake Erie.  It seems our American cousins are sharing the joy this year!

Looks like you had a great Christmas Derek!
We spoiled the kids.......The wife and I didn't get much for each other.
We had a white Christmas too......we got a couple inches of snow, and drove up to Cheyenne to have dinner with my wife's best friend. It was 0-degrees F by 5:30pm. it's been a cold week here.
Stay safe and warm!

Merry Christmas Derek. You are lucky down there. We have gotten about 2 feet of snow here in the last couple of weeks but it hasn't been that cold yet. This is the first time in about 10 years I get to have more than three days off at Christmas. Just got back from Kelowna last night, had to pick my daughter and grand daughter up at the airport. Hope you have a good new year and hope to see you next year on one of tour trips to the interior. Big R

Being as I am in Queensland where it never snows, I find it hard to fathom how it can snow and NOT be cold!   :flag_of_truce:

Hope all my FJ friends out there had a great Christmas..... roll on 2013.

Cheers all

It's all relative, Harvy... there's at least three or four levels of cold, IMO.

Randy's right, but I'm not sure about the number of levels.
I find that cold (and hot for that matter) is mainly an "in your head" attitude.
A beautiful high pressure 20F (-7C) day with cobalt blue sky and a snap to the air can be refreshing and lovely.  A grey, slushy, overcast drizzly 32F (0 C) day can be the pits.
For me, its only when the temps get below 0F (-17C) that I can't justify away the fact of COLD.  Those who live at high altitude and latitude probably have different definitions again.
Here, in Australia, I find it difficult to venture outside when its more than 35C (95F), just saps all my energy.

Whatever your weather, hope you all had a good Xmas and are looking forward to another year of FJ Kookaloo.
