Snow in Sweden

It started snowing yesterday.
A friend of mine still decided to take his scooter to work.
Good idea, since most of the buses, subways and trains are standing still.

One would have thought that Sweden would learn how to cope with the cold and the snow.
Maybe next year...

Here's a pic from my hometown, Stockholm:

Gotta love winter!

The temps so far this season have been setting record highs, Yesterday I was able to ride to the store wearing a t-shirt. Who would have thought that was possible the first week of December in Kansas.  :unknown:

Many years ago I got caught in snow in Southern California riding home on the 14 freeway north of LA. Found out snow sticks to face shields. I had to stop, fortunately a co-worker was not that far behind me and stopped to let me load the bike into his truck for the rest of the way home.  :shok:

No...
I usually just spend the winter months doing upgrades and maintenance on the bike.
Sneaking around Randys website while waiting for this months paycheck to drop down the mailbox.

Looking at stainless steel lines for the front, carb overhaul, pods and more...

I see the same picture in each one of your post.

I'm using it now as my desktop background.

Thanks,
Leon

Mine never looked like this, but I'm sure you could fit the same attachment to an FJ.

So glad I don't live in snow country anymore.

Great photo, made me miss the snow thinking about driving an FJ plow.

The postal workers in Tokyo (at least, maybe other places in Japan) use little red motorcycles with knobby tires.

The reason for the knobbies became clear when it snowed, and they just rode them in the snow.

Too bad I can't find that Wapsi Square comic about Norsemen forgetting how to walk on ice over the summer.
I don't need to know where I'm going, I only need to know where I've been.
