Now I'm sure the are people here who had themselves or family members dabble in Amway.  I am desperate to get my hands on some of this. I don't believe it's been made for many years but I'm hoping someone has some stashed away.  I will pay the freight for any cans down to half full.

As Amway have disconitunued this for yonks, I'd buy a lotto ticket if you manage to get hold of some that are unopened!

Do you guys get "Kleeneze" down your way?   :unknown: They have half decent stuff sometimes.

If all fails, you could have a look on this website - CORY care. (I think they're American as the address is Lakeville MN - Michigan or Minnesota? - I dunno?)

They do a piano gloss which has a good silicone content, and buffs up to a MEGA shine.

There is another cory product called Buff Brite - which removes scratches and cleans high performance finishes (if you want to prep before polish):

And if you don't want to go for that, then take a trip into town, and hunt down a decent music shop that sells guitars and pianos.

I'm sure they'll have a pretty good similar product there.

But maybe it just HAS to be the Buff Up?  Best of luck anyhoo...

I'm guessing you are using this as an all-purpose cleaner/ polisher.  I can not help you with sourcing this particular product, good luck if that's all that you can use, but you may want to try a modern/ available replacement.

I have had excellent luck with a product called "Plexus" combined with a micro-fiber rag.  It's not inexpensive, but the stuff does an excellent job at cleaning an polishing 'everything but the tires and chain' on the GSX-R.  It also does a wonderful job on helmet face shields, so much so that I carry a small can and a micro-fiber rag for just this purpose.

You may want to try it, it looks like this:

Good luck,

Dan

I have had great results using the Meguiar's PlastX. From the visor to the windscreen to the headlights on the car.
This stuff works well enough.

Oh...erm...Noel....

We take it you want it for your bike?

I know what it's like to have found a product that is EXCELLENT at what you want it for, and you try to use it sparingly so's not to use it up.

Buying in bulk at the time is costly (Amway stuff costs a fortune), and so we only manage to buy maybe one or 2 cans.

Then....the buggers don't make it anymore. Noooooo!

What does a man do?  Do we spend a fortune on other products in the hope of finding a suitable alternative....or do we hold out for the original product turning up (try the dreaded ebay).

Drop an email to Amway in Australia and ask if anyone sales rep wise has old stock.

I have used this product to clean Corporate Jet windshields. It works great for the bike.

The picture on the can looks like you would be using it to polish your piano, or woodwork...........I can't really offer any help,
However, I am curious as to what the can is sitting on the cowl of? ? ? ? ?
Bigger picture please

Thanks for all the feedback.
I am an incurable polisher. I like getting the bike dirty as much as I like having it clean, so Mr Yamaha has provided just enough for me to polish without adding more, such as forks, headers and the like.

I could probably have bought another bike for the $'s I've spent over the years on polish, all the major show car brands and systems and have had some pretty spectacular results. but no matter how shiny you get it, a spray of this stuff takes it to another level!  It does need to be very shiny first, it is after all only a furniture polish.

This is my RH scoop, all bar the last little bit on the rhs is reflection.  It hasn't been polished for about a year and has had a lick (just a light mist) of this stuff 3 or 4  times.

These shots were taken at the weekend and not polished beforehand.
I swear the dust rolls off under its own weight.

I recently saw the owner of a piano store just about begging for some cans on ebay.

Dan, I actually carry a can of Plexus with me at all times as a cleaner but find the visors need something a little more abrasive to keep that very fine scratching at bay. I've always found paint products good on plastic. I brought my bike screen back from opaque to glass like working my way up with cutting compounds (in some spots wet & dry) and polishes made for auto paint and an electric buff.  You also get a much greater range of grades than plastic specific products and it's cheaper.

Craigo, pretty much same as above for PlastX.

Firehawk, it's 1928 Austin 7, I have just done a lot of mechanical, electrical and suspension work on it, it's a job, not mine.

Dave, thanks for the suggestions and info on where to go hunting for some.

Hi Noel,

I know that this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but darn close and available. Please note that I have not waxed with this in over a month.
